Diner 741 Restoration Update - January 2003

Diner 741 & ex-VIA Lounge "Fitzwilliam"

Former EL Diner 741 arrived at Ozark Mountain Railcar early this morning,
and was spotted by the Missouri and Northern Arkansas Railroad on OMR's
RIP track. John Suscheck performed an inbound inspection, and thoroughly
looked over 741. He reports that the car looks OK, with no problems after
its journey from Scranton.
John and his crew spent the day removing the
plywood walls that were installed by EL in the kitchen.
The
sinks and commode at the end of the car (which were installed by MoW)
were also removed. The refrigerator will be removed as well.
